Jerry Colangelo wanted to turn the Phoenix Suns around, so in 1988 he enlisted the help of Kathy Kolbe, who used the Kolbe A™ Index to test draft prospects.

The results were clear: Dan Majerle was the pick.

At first, fans booed. But 25 years later, “Thunder Dan” was inducted into the Phoenix Sun Ring of Honor as one of the greatest Suns in team history.
