Here's the reality:
Not everyone is built to thrive in Founder Mode and not everyone is built to thrive in Manager Mode.
You have to ask yourself: who am I, what are my strengths and where can I make the most impact on the business? Then, what are the strengths of the team I’ve built around me, and how can we collaborate most effectively?
You can ignore the "manager" MBAs all you want, but stop trying to follow advice of a few unicorns because a lot of the time, it won't work out for you and your specific business.
